Pure Energy

Spa Focus

A brand spanking new Day Spa has opened in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. It’s part of a global brand emerging from Malaysia called Pure Energy. The facilities look sensational, especially the individual kabanas (treatment rooms), and a reflexology lounge for spot massage treatment. They offer a full list of treatments, although there is no mention of water therapies.

Pure Energy list a range of facials, such as hydrating, purifying, Jet Lagged and even a ‘Face Detox for Him’. Men obviously can’t handle the ‘facial’ tag. Body scrubs and wraps are plentiful, including one with floral scents of Hibiscus and Rose and another with fragrant Cocoa beans. Sounds interesting. Along with the usual massage offerings, you can add on a number of other treatments such as Ear Candling and waxing.

According to their website:
“Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Pure Energy offers a simple but complete menu of spa services for on-the-go, busy global nomads and citizens of the world looking to recharge, revitalize and reconnect in a clean, stylish environment. It will be an experience they can expect to receive in a Pure Energy anywhere in the world.”

My husband and I started going in Aug 09. On our first visit, we went for a full body massage. It was very relaxing and the skilled therapists did a wonderful job relieving our sore muscles. I have been to many spas around Australia and tried many type of massage therapies – I can say the Purity Special is the best. On subsequent visits I have treated myself to facials and other treatments. All excellent. Highly recommended.

Experianced Pure energy a number of times. My moksa treatment was brilliant so was the full body massage that came with it. The ladys are very well trained and know how to look after you. I make the trip into town just to go to this great day spa. A must for anyone that loves massage.

Hi E.Grenfell,

Thanks for your comments. Sounds like you are quite the regular at Pure Energy! Glad to hear you are very happy with their services. As you have extensively travelled to spas around the country, are there any other spas you can recommend to readers?

Hi Nic,

Great! It's important to find a spa that you can trust. Training is certainly crucial for a great spa experience. Thanks for your comments.
